We are looking for graduates or talanted people who are super passionate about the web space - whether that be design, development, social media, customer support, account management .....you name it!

You may have a qualifications in Graphic Design, Multi-Media, Communications, Marketing, Business etc, or you may be a self taught geek monking with experience in code or contributed to open source projects.

We are offering 3 month internships at our Fitzroy studio in early 2011 which will provide plenty of hands-on experience in web development, social media, web design, account management - or in an area that suits your skills.

Depending on your area of expertise, the internship may be wtih Square Circle Triangle – a full service digital agency with 11 years of experience in the digital industry, or BlocksGlobal – a company delivering software and digital solutions to marketing professionals.

A modest allowance will be provided to the successful applicants.

We're looking for a highly proficient front-end developer who is passionate about creating well-built websites that utilise cutting-edge techniques. A sharp eye for detail and an ability to contribute to discussions concerning usability and information architecture is an absolute must.

Ideally you should have prior experience developing large websites and web applications for demanding clients. The ability to multi-task and organise when times are hectic is definitely required.

You must:

• Be proficient with HTML, CSS and Javascript and be able to demonstrate this via previous work (we want to see code) which emphasises a strong knowledge of web standards and best practice.
• Love learning and advancing your skills to stay at the top of your game.
• jQuery is our JS framework of choice, but we expect a really good understanding of the core js language, and development best practices.
• Have prior experience in incorporating CMSs to manage site content.
• Possess a strong knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues.
• Be proficient with PhotoShop as you will need to be able to create pixel perfect websites based on direction from our demanding creative team.

Bonus Points:

• Prior experience developing HTML5/CSS3 websites and applications.
• Experience developing web apps for mobile and touch devices.
• More than 3 years experience within an Agency environment.
• Knowledge of table based layouts (yeah... we do a little email marketing).
• Prior experience developing large e-commerce sites.
• You are a TDD/BDD aficionado.
• You have experience with other programming languages (Any knowledge of Ruby would be a big win)
• You have a solid understanding of the full web stack, beyond just HTML/JS.
