Clients are excited about the new Contact managment system now in Beta testing.

What's New

In response to popular demand we have completely overhauled Blocks'™ Contact management system.

Email Marketing has also been enhanced to take full advantage of this functionality.

Highlights:

  • New Contacts screen - with continuity to Blocks™ Files
  • Smart Lists enable you to better segment your contacts. You can then send targeted email marketing to the contacts in your list.

  • Add/Edit individual contact details including subscription management
  • Define additional custom fields if the standard fields don't meet your specific needs
  • Advanced Data Upload Tools enable sophisticated control when merging data from other systems
  • Data washing capabilities ensure contact lists are clean of bouncing email addresses.

Subscriptions, Unsubscribes and Blacklists

We've created clever functionality to support segmentation of your email marketing lists into specific interest groups.

For example some people might want to receive a company newsletter while others are only interested in hearing about promotions and discounts.

Now you can create "Subscription Interests" for individual projects. In the above example we'd create interests for "Discounts" and also "General".  Subscribers can sign up to, or unsubscribe from each separately.

If a subscriber doesn't want to hear from you at all then they can "Blacklist" themselves, which means you won't be able to send them any further emails.

Email Marketing

Campaigns has been given a face lift and is now called Email Marketing for greater clarity.

Email Marketing is divided into 3 easy steps: Build Email, Schedule Email and Sent Emails.

This means you can create multiple schedules for a single email to send it to different Lists, or test the effectiveness of different send times.

Sent Emails has more advanced reporting on past campaigns.

  • Graphs of email marketing outcomes
  • Downloadable lists of bounced, delayed or unsubscribed emails.

Scenario

Mirvac Retail have 50 Shopping Centers, and wish to combine various loyalty programs into one Club with areas of interest appropriate to each Center such as food, fashion or kids.

So each Center has their own Subscription Interests and wish to market to those customers based on their own specific interest areas. They also want to ensure other centres don't have access to their contacts.

Head office have a requirement to market across any number of Centers (sometimes all, or perhaps only a selection of Centers) for Advantage Club based on areas of interest, and understanding not all Centers provide all of these interest areas.

The new features of Blocks™ Contacts allows each of these three specific needs to be easily fulfilled.
